Gene Wilder Thinks There's Too Much Swearing In Movies Today! Jul 11th 2013, 07:05, by Perez Hilton It's been 22 years since comedic legend Gene Wilder has appeared in a major motion picture. So what's keeping him out of the movie making business? He thinks there's too much SWEARING going on in today's films! That's what he told an audience in New York during a special Q&A event. What's more, Gene swears HIMSELF while issuing his complaint! During his interview, Gene explained: "[There's] so much swearing going on! Someone saying, 'oh go f*ck yourself!' Well, if it came in [at a] meaningful place, I'd understand it. Can't they just stop and talk, just talk, instead of swearing? Once in awhile it comes in handy but not running all the way through the film." Mr. Wilder turned 80 this year and we have nothing but respect for the man who played Willy Wonka. But c'mon, Gene! You haven't only done kid-friendly flicks! Gene also starred in Blazing Saddles and that movie is as vulgar as it is HILARIOUS! Another reason he's staying off the big screen is because he HATES 3D! To each his own, but we think we'd pay to see Young Frankenstein in 3D if they were to ever rerelease it! It's ALIVE!!!
