But Blurred Lines is getting more than just radio plays and downloads - it has a lot of people wondering just what this song is about! And some are even saying the lyrics suggest rape! Now Robin is setting the record STRAIGHT, calling those allegations 'ridiculous'. Mr. Thicke explained what the lyrics of his hit song are REALLY about: "It was about blurring the lines between men and women and how much we're the same. My wife is as strong as I am, as smart, if not smarter, stronger and she's an animal too! She doesn't need a man to define her or to define her existence." Robin also says the song is about how even good girls have a naughty side to them. Mr. Thicke sure did surround himself with some naughty and NAKED girls for the Blurred Lines music video. But he also insisted that they shoot a second version where the ladies all kept their clothes ON! When it came time to decide whether or not to release the X-rated vid, one person made the call - his wife, Paula Patton! Robin admitted: "My initial response actually was that I loved the clothed version! I didn't think we should put out the naked version. And then I showed it to my wife and all of her girlfriends and they said 'You have to put this out!
